Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Communicate with the business to ensure all new requests are validated and accurate.
  • Review request and ensure new request is valid and no other similar items are available
  • Prepare and submit requests for set-up of new items in Ariba, SAP and AIDI
  • Communicate changes to buyer team and business where applicable
  • Create and maintain catalog kits for new opening and replenishment
  • Update content on smallware kits in Ariba
  • Publish monthly dashboard on supplier performance, new listing/ cost changes
  • Issue communication to buyers on upcoming cost adjustments, changes to item line up
  • Work with design team to ensure Design Bulletin details are properly listed in Ariba, SAP and AIDI.
  • Support construction buyers – supplier code change, new item transition, communication of changes.
  • Update and collect Spec Sheets and ensure content is updated as items transition/evolve
  • Ensure cost changes are accurate and flag all discrepancies to Category team
  • Work with QC team to ensure proper translation on item descriptions
  • Manage supplier communication inclusive of – cost change confirmation, listing issues, KPI reporting

What you have to offer:

  • Undergraduate Degree or a DEC with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attentive to detail
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills  (both oral and written)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite with Excel skills at an intermediate level
  • Ability to work successfully to defined deadlines
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Fluent in both French and English The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the expansion, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $42 000 – $58,000. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
