POSITION SUMMARY:
We seek a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of our Strengthening Families Initiative’s (SFI) mental health activity supported by Bell Let’s Talk. The ideal candidate will have experience in program development and delivery, as well as experience working within the mental health and wellness sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop and implement comprehensive mental health programs aligned with the mission and goals of CDNBCA’s Bell Let’s Talk Pathways to Healing project.
•Coordinate with healthcare professionals, stakeholders, and community organizations to ensure program success.
•Provide clinical oversight and guidance to mental health professionals involved in the program.
•Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs, making necessary improvements as needed.
•Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal mental health laws and regulations.
•Manage facilitators and resources allocated to the mental health programs.
•Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, record-keeping, and documentation.
•Engage in community outreach and promotional activities to increase awareness of the programs.
•Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health program coordination.
•Experience with grant management and implementation of mental health initiatives.
•Strong organizational and communication skills, in both English and French.
•Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
•Knowledge of current mental health issues and best practices.
Salary: Minimum $22 per hour

Location: Côte-des-Neiges Black Community Association, 6585 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges
Type of position: Contract, Part-time, 20-25 hours per week
Reports to: SFI Manager
